Dollar Spring Flower # 12 :
These are specially made flowers which when folded occupy a very little
space but when opened, they occupy a large space filled with flowers made
of dollars. They are used only by the magicians for production from empty
boxes or in items such as paper to flower, Gloves to Bouquet etc.
They come in various sizes, shapes number and materials. Previously they
were made of only colored papers. But nowadays they are also made up of
imitation dollars which are more showy and durable. Irrespective of their
size, shape or material, their function and handling remains the same.
Notice each flower is attached to a string. Tie the strings of all the
flowers at such a point, so that, when they are released, the flowers take
the shape of a ball. This is a trial and error process to find out the
correct spot.
Always keep the flowers open when not in use. If the spring loses tension,
place a round pencil across the outer leaf of each flower and gently pull
the leaf across it.
During performance, close the flowers one at a time. Hold all the closed
flowers in a bunch and encircle it with a rubber band. During production
simply reach inside the instrument. |
